As big believers in the circular economy, we may reuse shipping materials from packages we’ve received our own goods/supplies in. If they’re not reused, they will be plastic-free, down to the tape and everything.
NOTES:
* Listing is for a single bar.
* We may make style improvements to our labeling that differ a little from from the style you see here. Packaging will always be low-waste.
TIP: The solid dishwashing bar should be rotated periodically so a bowl/dent doesn't form at the top. This bowl would allow water to collect, which softens soap and shorten's it's lifespan. Real, handmade soap (if well formulated) can last a long time but it must be kept dry between uses. Use a soap dish that drains away water, and keep bars out of direct streams of water.
We like to use a a draining soap tray/holder for maximum air circulation. Here's a direct link:

Second time purchasing. It cuts out the plastic and its size is deceiving - takes little space yet lasts ages.
Thank you so much for your support and your review! We're so happy to hear you had a wonderful experience. Warmest wishes, Jess & the Sweet ’Ōkole Soap family.
I've been trying out different solid dish soap blocks for about a year now and I'm very pleased with this soap. I've been skeptical about buying dish soap blocks from companies/sellers I can trust and I'm happy that I found a local soap brand that produces good soap :) Something that I have noticed about this soap is that it doesn't stick to the soap tray which is nice because I can pick the soap up and move it around if needed. I look forward to buying more :D
Hi Jordan, So grateful for your review. We love stories like these. Thank you for your support, and for taking the time to share your feedback, Jess & the Sweet ’Ōkole Soap family.
I like the shape of this bar--not too big and easy to hold in my hand. The soap bar lathers up well and also cleans/rinses off easily. The best part is that there is no plastic packaging or container and this is a locally-made product.
Jeanine - so grateful for your review! Your support means the world to us and keeps us going. Glad you had a great experience. Thank you, Jess & the Sweet ’Ōkole Soap family.
They smell amazing. Can’t wait to use them. I love having a cleaner option. ❤️

Probably my own fault but item much smaller than anticipated and not worth the price.
